Get to know our plastic-free packaging

Creating a plastic-free shop was extremely important to us. So if you're like us and the weight of micro-plastics around the globe keeps you up at night read along to understand how we are aiming to be 100% plastic free in 2021.

The Box

We use corrugated cardboard boxes with no plastic-derived wrapping. Corrugated cardboard is one the easiest materials to recycle.

The Protection

Your purchase means so much to us and we want to ensure it arrives safely. We use kraft paper to wrap all of our flowers and create insulation to prevent the dried flowers from moving around too much in transit.

The Ribbon

Many times our product requires some additional fixing so we use raffia ribbon to help keep everything in place. This is a very environmentally-friendly string that is a great plastic-tie alternative. (Also looks super cute too.)

The Seal

Kraft packing tape. Bet you didn't know kraft came in so many varieties? Bet you may also not have known that using regular packing tape can prohibit the recyclable box from getting recycled. It can create ~C O N T A M I N A T I O N~. So we use kraft packing tape to keep us free of contamination.

Label pouches, why can't trees create see-through pouches for us? We are currently using label pouches which are plastic. WE KNOW, tragic. But in 2021 we have a goal to remove these from our packaging all together. So stick with us and watch us be 100% plastic free in 2021!
